This Privacy Policy explains what information Relief Petrol ("we", "our", "us") collects when you visit reliefpetrol.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have. Relief Petrol is an independent information website about fuel prices and petrol relief in Pakistan. By using the Site you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

You do not need an account to read the Site, and we do not ask you to fill in a registration form. We collect information in three ways:

• Log and device data. Like most websites, our hosting servers record technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page and the pages you open.
• Analytics data. We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are read and how visitors find us. It uses cookies and similar technologies to produce aggregated statistics.
• Information you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in the message.

The SMS preparation tool

The "Petrol Relief Scheme Online Apply" page helps you assemble a text message from details you type in, such as a CNIC number and a vehicle number. The message is built in your own browser and then handed to your phone's messaging app. We do not send these details to our servers and we do not store them. Even so, never share your CNIC with a website or number you do not trust, and confirm the current procedure through official government channels.

If you choose to subscribe, OneSignal stores a browser token and basic device information so that it can deliver the notification. You can unsubscribe at any time from the notification bell on the Site or from your browser's site settings, where you can also block notifications completely.

How we use information

• To operate the Site and keep it secure.
• To understand which content is useful and improve it.
• To show advertising that helps pay for the Site.
• To reply to messages you send us.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the email addresses people send us for marketing.

Sharing and third parties

We share data only with the service providers needed to run the Site, such as our hosting company, Google (analytics and advertising) and OneSignal (notifications), or when the law requires it. Our pages may link to other websites, including official government sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites.

Data retention and security

Server logs and analytics data are kept for as long as the relevant provider retains them under its own settings. Emails are kept only as long as needed to deal with your request. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the Site.

Your choices and rights

Children
