About Us
Relief Petrol (reliefpetrol.com) is an independent information website for people in Pakistan who buy fuel and want to understand what they pay. It is not a government website and it is not connected to OGRA or any oil marketing company.
Why this site exists
The site began as a plain-language guide to the Prime Minister's Petrol Relief Scheme, because many people were unsure how registration, the 9771 SMS and the fuel token worked. As readers kept asking the same wider questions, such as why the price changed and how much a trip would cost, the site grew to cover fuel prices in general.
What you will find here
- Fuel prices. Petrol, Hi-Octane, diesel, light diesel oil and kerosene, shown with the effective date of the notification they come from.
- Calculators. A fill-up calculator and a trip-cost calculator that use the prices on the home page.
- Guides. Explanations of how a litre of petrol is priced, how to choose the right fuel, how to use less of it and how to protect yourself at the pump.
- Relief scheme information. Articles and a message-preparation tool for the Petrol Relief Scheme, with reminders to verify everything through official channels.
How we work
Price figures are copied from the official notification for each revision and shown with their effective date. Articles are written in plain language and aim to explain the reasoning, not just repeat a headline. When a price, rule or procedure changes, we update the relevant page and its review date.
We are an information site. We cannot register you for any scheme, we never ask for your CNIC, and nothing here is legal, financial or technical advice.
Corrections
If you spot an error or an out-of-date figure, please tell us at contact@reliefpetrol.com. Tell us the page, what is wrong and, if possible, where the correct information can be checked. We review every report and correct confirmed mistakes promptly.
How the site is funded
